Which gender is more in Korea?
Despite its patriarchal history, Korea has seen a significant increase in women's participation in various fields. According to recent statistics, there are slightly more women than men in the country, and women have higher education levels and labor force participation rates than the OECD average. However, women still face obstacles such as the gender wage gap and gender-based violence. The government has introduced new policies to address these issues, but continued effort from both the government and society is needed to achieve true gender equality.
