What human rights issues does South Korea have?
South Korea faces a range of human rights issues, including the use of the death penalty, censorship and limitations on freedom of expression, abuses in certain industries, gender inequality and discrimination against minorities. There are also concerns about police brutality, government interference in religious affairs, treatment of refugees and disability rights. Environmental challenges and child labor are additional issues that need to be addressed. Despite its economic development and social progress, South Korea must continue to work towards promoting human rights and protecting vulnerable groups.
